The Truth Network is a pioneering, decentralized proof of authority network designed to provide fair, transparent, and verifiable outcomes for prediction markets. By enabling up to 50,000 nodes to collaboratively process transactions and determine market results, the Truth Network reduces the risk of collusion and establishes a trusted infrastructure layer underpinning these markets. Its token economy aligns incentives across multiple parties, encouraging honest participation and delivering a secure, equitable framework for creating and participating in prediction markets.
Unlike general-purpose chains, Truth Network’s core protocol is optimized around prediction markets. It provides fast finality, while on-chain settlement removes reliance on external price feeds or manual intervention. This design minimizes trust assumptions and maximizes censorship resistance, and allows for entirely non-custodial solutions to be built on it.
The network is developed and governed by the open-source Truth Protocol Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to building infrastructure that elevates collective intelligence through transparent, permissionless markets.
As a decentralized protocol, various elements of the Truth Network are run by third parties:
Truth Network operates under a Proof of Authority consensus mechanism, where trusted node operators verify outcomes and uphold network integrity.
It’s an appchain on Aventus Network, a tried-and-tested enterprise blockchain provider, and ultimately derives security from Polkadot’s shared security model.
All market creation, trades, and settlements are recorded on-chain. Anyone can inspect event outcomes, validator attestations, and fee flows in the public ledger, eliminating hidden data or off-chain black boxes.
The following allocation model ensures a balanced distribution of tokens to support network operations, liquidity, community-driven growth, and long-term sustainability.
The token serves as collateral in prediction markets, pays network fees, and signals governance preferences. Holding tokens aligns incentives across traders, node operators, and protocol stewards.
$TRUU is currently available to purchase on UniSwap, Bitunix, and XT.com.
Currently, MetaMask (Ethereum) and SubWallet (Truth Network) support $TRUU.
Ethereum is the base network where the Truth ERC20 token lives and where exchanges integrate the token. You can lift (see below) the token into the Truth Network which then becomes native tokens used for Truth Network gas fees, primarily around prediction markets. Any native token can be lowered (see below) to Ethereum.
“Lifting” sends your ERC-20 tokens from Ethereum into Truth Network’s environment via https://lift.truth-network.io. This process takes 15-20 minutes.
“Lowering” returns them back to Ethereum through https://lower.truth-network.io. Both bridges lock tokens on one chain and mint or release them on the other, with minimal fees and transparent on-chain receipts. This process takes 12 hours as a security mechanism to give the network time to respond to any issues.
Every trade incurs network fee:$0.05 in $TRUU currently, but in future 1% of the transaction, capped at $0.50 and minimum $0.10 in $TRUU, with any amount above $0.05 being distributed to node owners. Once an event resolves, the smart-contract logic automatically settles winning positions and users can claim their rewards.

Nodes form the backbone of Truth Network’s security and consensus. They provide their computing power, validating transactions and receive $TRUU as a reward, aligning their incentives with the network’s integrity.
Anyone with a device connected to the internet can run a node.
Yes: node operators earn a proportional share of on-chain fees based on their uptime. You can track performance via built-in Prometheus metrics and dashboards.
Head to https://blockchainfactory.io for step-by-step guides and node operator support.
Short downtime won’t harm the network, but operators should aim for at least 8 hours of uptime per day to maximize rewards. Alerts and logs in the monitoring tools help you catch and resolve issues quickly.
